Situated close to the Welsh border in the tiny hamlet of More, Church Farmhouse dates from the 1580’s. This fabulous Grade II listed building has been rescued from dereliction and carefully restored over the past twelve years by the current owner. The farmhouse has been subject to a number of building programmes: it dates from the mid sixteenth century, was remodelled in the mid seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and was extended in the nineteenth century. It is timber framed with plaster infill (some parts are roughcast.) It has a slate roof and a rubblestone ridge stack with red brick shafts.
